From Vision to Reality: Sharing My Tamron Hall Show Experience

I promised myself I would not rush past this moment.

When the opportunity came to appear on the Tamron Hall Show, I knew it was more than a career highlight. It was a reflection of everything I had been working toward: the quiet preparation, the steady belief, and the faith to keep going even when the timeline did not match my expectations.

I wanted to fully feel this moment. To let it settle in and to honor what it meant personally and professionally. Because this was not just about stepping onto a stage, it was about being seen as a therapist, as a Black woman, and as someone committed to making conversations around mental health and relationships more accessible and real.

In the full video I am sharing today, you’ll catch a glimpse of what it looked like behind the scenes: getting ready in the green room, walking onto the set, and all the emotions in between. But more than that, I am sharing the heart behind the moment, what it took to prepare for something I couldn’t fully see yet, and how powerful it feels when the seeds you’ve planted start to bloom.

If you are holding space for a dream right now, one that feels distant, slow, or stuck, I hope this reminds you that “not yet” does not mean “never.” Sometimes it just means not yet.

And not yet can shift into right now before you even realize it.

Until next time,
B
